Omi Shariqul Islam Azad

My Professional Vision: I want to consider myself as reliable and self-motivated achiever with a professional attitude. I believe that the ability to understand and deal effectively with a client's IT needs requires as much skill in human communication as it does technical proficiency. I strive to "bridge the gap" between technical know-how and the practical, goal oriented needs of managers and end-users in the working environment, thereby providing simple robust solutions which fulfill often complex requirements. With well developed technical skills I can work alone or in a team. I have leadership experience and can build effective and friendly relations with colleagues and clients. Now I want to be a part of the technological advancement that our country has started experiencing since last couple of years.

IT Experience: With over 10 successful years as an IT professional I am highly experienced in planning, procuring, deploying IT solution. Sometimes configuring and troubleshooting small/medium size networks and standalone computers. I am familiar with many web and data communication technologies and have an excellent overview of the IT sector at large. I am familiar with most common software packages and although I regard myself as an IT general practitioner.

Irtiza Ahmed Akhter Irtiza Ahmed Akhter, Nickname : Borno

I am doing my major in computer engineering at North South University, graduating this year. I am actively involved with NSUCC (North South University Computer Club). Software and Hardware both fall under my interest. Besides study, I have done some free lance networking job as infrastructure designer and administrator. I often like to deal with wireless networking infrastructure and different routing protocols. I like to spend my time doing several things, such as: Programming in Java, Internetworking, Evaluating and exploring different technologies; I have very neat interest in different Microsoft products starting from Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Live applications, SQL server, etc. I have recently completed few online courses from Microsoft e-learning. I always look forward to work with a team. Since I am very fond of hard work, punctuality and precise job, working with me can be very beneficial to some extent.

I would like to mention some recent researches that I have conducted lately: Intel's new micro-architecture "Nehalem" & core-i7, The Next Generation Wireless: 802.11n (all the drafts). All of those researches were based on hand-on experiences and observations. I am comfortable in dealing with many major applications, hardware, different platforms, and a wide range of internetworking devices. Though I have not participated formally in the process of evaluation of Windows Vista and Windows 7, I am quite good in working in these two platforms. I am highly interested on 64 bit based architectures and its future development.

I want to be a self motivated individual who will be able to introduce and demonstrate the upcoming technologies and will manipulate those in the best interests of our Country. There are lots of opportunities for this specific sector in Bangladesh, we just need a little boost up from the inside out. I do hope that I would be able to contribute exclusively for such purpose.
