It is really hard to introduce SharePoint within 30 min.

You are right from your point of view. If there are two or more sessions on SharePoint then it would be possible to introduce MOSS only in the 1st session and others in the rest sessions. There was only one session and that's why i tried to cover major parts of the sharepoint development including introduction.

Well, If you talk about Document Lib or List which is related Document Management Portal of SharePoint /WSS. It is also a specific part of MOSS. So i tried to discuss in general sharepoint development.

However, I will try to explain more in this regards. Thanks.

Though it was "introduction to sharepoint", we had found deployment also. Few of my colleagues went to the event was eager to know about SharePoint. They had found the session difficult to understand. The session should be more specific to non-sharepoint developers. You could take more about WSS and MOSS. You could take about SharePoint object model, you could talk about SharePoint web application, web site etc. Few extra features I was expecting was Document Library and List. Anyway Thanks for the session.
