Microsoft @ Dhaka University Job Fair 2010
Dhaka University Career Club arranged a 2 day long Job fair in Dhaka University campus. Though the target audience was students from all universities, many professionals/job holders paid visit to know the job market or to learn about opportunities.
This is the very first time Microsoft took part in a job fair of Bangladesh to let the visitors know about the opportunities of Microsoft. Microsoft Student Partners (MSP) represented Microsoft on the event. Though MSPs wanted to focus on Career/S2B/BizSpark related information, but later they had to answer many development/platform related questions. Visitors were more curious about Microsoft Platform, Tools than career with Microsoft.
MSPs distributed approximately 350 copies of Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Professional edition, downloaded from DreamSpark. Interested students came with their flash drive and blank DVDs and took a copy of Visual Studio 2010 from Microsoft Stall.
