Empowering the students of Bangladesh University
On 17 June 2010, Bangladesh University and Microsoft Bangladesh signed a memorandum of understanding agreement. Under MSDN AA agreement Microsoft will provide Tools, Applications to the students of Bangladesh University for free of cost. Science, Technology, Engineering, Math and Design department students will get license for 400+ Microsoft titles for free of cost and other department students will get selected tools from DreamSpark program.
Microsoft will also provide hosted email solution through Live@edu program to Bangladesh University. Faculty, Stuff and students will enjoy Live@Edu program.
Bangladesh University auditorium was crowded with 450+ students and faculties. Omi Azad, Developer Evangelist, presented 3 presentations on the event. "The Power of Students" presentation rocked the students and they were very excited after knowing what students can do and what Microsoft is doing for them.
Bangladesh University is very happy with the alliance. Bangladesh University students will do all communication with selected 5 Student Partners. They are: Faruk Khan, Bani Amel, Pritom Bhowmik, Mazharul Alam, Khaza Maeen Uddin.
